PRESIDENT, B.GRIMM

Caroline Link is the fourth-generation heir to B.grimm, one of Thailand’s oldest business institutions, carrying a 142-year-old tradition of “doing business with compassion.” Like her father, Dr. Harald Link, she went through apprenticeships in a range of fields, from pharmaceuticals to banking, in order to better understand a diversified company like B.grimm, which is active in energy, building and industrial systems, healthcare, transportation, lifestyle, real estate, digital and capital partners. In a 2015 Forbes Asia article, she revealed herself to be not only people smart, but also deeply committed to personnel matters and to fostering a compassionate corporate culture. Away from the office, Caroline loves playing polo, not only for fun but also to keep herself agile when it comes to dealing with competitive personalities that she often interacts with in her professional life. She’s also long been known for her philanthropy both with B. Grimm and other organisations. Areas close to her heart are education and the environment. She has helped bring fun science education to over 20,000 schools around Thailand through B.grimm’s work with the German educational programme Little Scientists’ House. She is also committed to children’s welfare and environmental causes through her contributions to Save the Children Foundation and Wwf-thailand’s Save the Tigers project, and other organisations.
