BURST OF COLOURS

The new Richard Mille RM 71-02 is an ode to the raw glamour and untamed energy of the 1970s, as well as the timeless and indomitable freedom the decade represented. Each of the six RM 71-02 Automatic Tourbillon Talisman timepieces are animatedly distinct from other models, by way of colour, symbolic use of stones, and the differing geometries of their bezels and dial elements. When Cécile Guenat, the director of the ladies’ collections at Richard Mille, gave each model a name, she conjured an image of a group of powerful women, each with her own strengths and beauty, deliberately acknowledging their empowerment. More than six months were spent researching and confirming the placement of stones in their final configuration, and the result sees a variation of 10 textures, faceting, and free expression all over the case and bezel of the watch.
