The 7th floor of the Emquartier Helix tower is where you’ll find an intimate 8-seat Japanese omakase restaurant featuring a 15-course lunch menu and a 19-course dinner experience. This newest Sushi Cyu – there are three others in Bangkok – differs from its counterparts by providing a more contemporary minimalist atmosphere, and some truly unique dish preparations. Diners can watch the expert chefs up close as they masterfully assemble intricate creations such as: Hokkaido hair crab laying atop a transparent gel covering a bed of pine nut, myoga, cucumber and chrysanthemum; Nodoguro (black throat rockfish) sushi with sakura leaves; Kuruma Ebi, served with shrimp paste blended with craft butter from France; Tsujiko salmon roe marinated with miso and sake; and three separate courses of uni, served cold as nigiri, warm with soba, and hot done tempura-style. And for dessert… sake pudding with yuzu emulsion.
