Located atop Stage restaurant, is Ekkamai’s swanky new speakeasy-style bar, and one that exudes a decidedly flair. The interior design, courtesy of Paradigm Shift, features plenty of red, gold and black, and evokes an atmosphere that is unabashedly sensual – think
– with lots of plush padded walls, artfully hung chains, and even fur-lined handcuffs dangling from the wall in the back room. A neon sign that reads “You are My Favorite Dirty Thought” sets the tone, while the 10 signature cocktails have risqué names like Mr. Grey, Red Light District, Mrs. Robinson, Sitting On The Thorn, First Date, and Porn Star Martini #2. Not surprisingly, Chef Sainisa “Jay” Sangsingkaew’s restaurant below provides a menu of light snacks to pair with the drinks, and for cigar smokers there’s a private lounge with a curated selection of 15 premium cigar labels available.
