On the floor above Opus, the long-standing Italian fine dining restaurant on Sathorn’s Thanon Pan, you’ll now find a sleek and chic new drink spot named after the famous Nina Simone song. Guests can choose to tipple indoors or outdoors on the terrace, with either option offering both comfortable stools at the bar or cosy wraparound bench-style seating. The gourmet menu of bar bites was created by Clara restaurant’s chef Christian Martena – his black truffle rice balls are quite divine – while the extensive wine and spirits list has been curated by barman Francesco Moretti. Superb signature cocktails include A Long Forgotten Space (with a touch of absinthe) and the colourful Run, Sinnerman!, or try one of their six unique Negroni variations. On Wednesdays, however, the menu is set aside so the bar team can create aromatic bespoke cocktails for guests, based on scent and taste preferences.
