TIMELESS TIMEPIECE

Released in January 2021, the Grand Seiko 140th Anniversary Limited Edition SBGW260 celebrates the founding of the K. Hattori company in 1881, which later became Seikosha in 1892. This meticulously designed commemorative timepiece is a re-creation of the first Grand Seiko, from 1960, and boasts an ultra-slim 10.9mm rose gold case and a power reserve of 72 hours, all made possible by the hand-winding Calibre 9S64. The understated beige dial is embellished with the vintage Grand Seiko logo, ‘Diashock 24 Jewels’ in cursive lettering and, just above 6 o’clock, the same eight-pointed star as the original model.
