It seems as if hardly a month goes by when we don’t mention Chanel’s J12 ladies’ sports watch in one guise or another. This time around, we’re looking at the just-released Mademoiselle J12 Act II, a 555-piece limited edition from whose crown dangles a tiny, stylised white-gold-and-enamel effigy of the maison’s founder, Gabrielle “Coco” Chanel, which is set with a single brilliant-cut diamond. Moreover, this 33mm high-jewellery variant of the J12 comes in black or white ceramic and white-gold cases, features 12 baguette-cut diamonds as hour markers, a fixed white-gold and baguettepattern sapphire bezel, as well as a brilliant-cut diamond on the caseback. Powered by a precision quartz movement, this three-hand, time-only watch is water resistant to 5 bar.
