UNCLUTTERED SHAPES AND soft, never ostentatious materials, understated refinement and sleek, clean lines… these are all hallmarks of contemporary furniture brand Flexform Bangkokarkitektura. Add to that balanced proportions, exquisite materials, fabrics and finishes, and the result is living rooms that become a true island of emotional wellbeing – tactile and comforting. Indeed, a warm feeling envelops you as you sink into a Flexform sofa, surrounded by cosy, familiar objects such as armchairs, side tables and beautiful accessories that create an intimate, cocoon-like effect.

An Antonio Citterio-design, the Asolo sofa is all about comfort. With its generous yet well-balanced proportions, couture upholstery tailoring and attention to even the smallest construction details, it is devoid of sharp corners and features large, fluffy cushions filled with blown polyester fibre and goose down for sheer relaxation.

The armrest comes in two widths and is distinctive to the Asolo sofa. It features an elegant pleat; its shape and aesthetics reveal the impeccable craftsmanship behind the skillful tailoring. The versatile sofa – at once comfortable, sophisticated and relaxed – rests on a streamlined metal base with silver-grey painted finish. It seamlessly adds style an elegance to any setting, from classic to contemporary, and is confidently at-home upholstered in any of the fabrics and leathers in the extensive Flexform collection.

Also from the drawing board of Antonio Citterio, every construction detail of the Tessa armchair is a clue to the great complexity that lies behind its seeming simplicity – the kind of simplicity that stems from the ingenuity and handcraftsmanship inherent to the concept of the product itself.

The structure is made entirely of solid ash or turned Canaletto walnut. The traditional joinery requires expert craftsmanship and gently exalts the natural texture and feel of the wood. An ancient art that dates back to Italian rural tradition, the delicate yet strong woven paper rush cord in the seat and backrest is also finely handcrafted. Soft optional cushions held in place by slender straps add a deeper sense of welcome.

In addition to the armchair, The Tessa collection also includes an ottoman, bench and a coffee table with marble top (available in a number of types of marble).
