Virtual Experience
What was all set to be a talk-of-the-town event on January 20 became a virtual experience (due to Covid-19 restrictions) on multiple Facebook channels to unveil the New BMW 5 Series. This BMW Virtual Experience turned out to be a complex logistical undertaking with all six generations of the BMW 5 Series gathered for the occasion – dating back to the very first model over 30 years ago – and complete with props and costumes for the presenters and excutives from that particular era to set the scene. All of this happened against a backdrop of a seven-metre-long LED screen, and with more than 120 people involved in the impressive, three-day production.
