STOCK.ROOM, KIMPTON MAA-LAI BANGKOK

A newcomer to Bangkok’s brunch brigade is the Stock.room, located on the Kimpton Maa-lai hotel’s 5th floor. Every Sunday this versatile venue transforms into a bustling grocerant-style eatery, serving up mouth-watering farm-to-plate dishes, fresh coffee from the in-house roaster, and a selection of healthy juices. The list of cosmopolitan brunch bites on offer includes lobster caviar eggs benedict, a flavourful Mexican-spanish fusion paella, and juicy grilled Kobe beef, all of which are available alongside Thai street food favourites prepared using premium ingredients, and breakfast classics such as griddle waffles and pancake stacks served with a choice of sweet or savoury toppings. This four-hour feast runs from 11.30am until 3.30pm, attractively priced at THB 1,950++, but do opt for the additional drinks package (THB 950++ per person) which includes a free flow of beers, as well as cool cocktails ranging from classic mimosas to Bloody Marys and refreshing Aperol spritzes.
