TOUR DE FRANCE
In the cycling world there’s no event more beloved – or more gruelling – than the annual Tour de France competition. With a history that dates back to 1903, the race consists of 21 day-long stages, held over the course of 23 days, and each year the exact route followed changes slightly. For the 2021 edition, the race will begin in Brest, Brittany, before winding through the mountain chains of the Pyrenees and the Alps and culminating with a finishing line on the Champs-élysées in Paris.
