PRECIOUS TIME

An elegant lucky charm, Van Cleef & Arpels’ Alhambra collection has seen numerous iterations since its launch over 50 years ago. Now, the line welcomes its very first range of four secret pendant watches that celebrate the poetry of a time concealed at the heart of an emblem inspired by the four-leaf clover. Reminiscent of 17th-century chain watches, time is revealed by the wearer pivoting the stone-set motif to unveil the dial. Each creation on a long gold chain necklace is adorned with precious materials. Two models showcase the intense radiance of guilloché gold: one discloses a dial in white mother-of-pearl beneath a guilloché rose gold motif, while the other conceals a guilloché yellow gold dial in a case entirely set with diamonds. A third piece combines rose gold with carnelian, enclosing a white mother-of-pearl dial embellished with diamonds. Created in limited quantities, the fourth model is adorned with turquoise, whose azure blue complements the warm yellow gold. Diamonds set on the side of the case and around the dial lend extra sparkle.
