This year, the timepiece developed by Ulysse Nardin for the 9th edition of the prestigious Only Watch auction – due to be held on November 6 – is not a wristwatch but a wacky high-flying clockmaker’s object. Simply called the “UFO”, the unique table clock in an iridescent orange hue follows on the sold-out metallic blue version launched earlier this year and of which only 75 pieces were made. All proceeds of the Only Watch auction, patronised by HSH Prince Albert II of Monaco, will be used for research on Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy.
