Tucked away on a small street in the Sathorn-sathupradit district, Potion Essential is a newly-opened, sleek and chic health-focused café and juice bar. The idea behind the “slow juice” portion of the menu is that while some fruits and vegetables are high in micronutrients – beetroot and celery for instance – they are not to everyone’s liking when consumed solo. However, mixing them with tastier and more palatable healthy ingredients, like pomegranate, guava and pineapple, creates wonderful new flavour combinations. Alongside the juices and coffees there are plenty of healthy meal options, all dutifully packed with superfoods containing macro- and micronutrients, plus essential proteins, carbs, healthy fats, vitamins, and minerals. Signature dishes include: avocado, bacon, and chickpeas on sourdough, served with green salad; housemade pink yogurt granola bowl with fresh fruit, roasted coconut chips and edible flowers; and a yummy dessert of avocado, cacao, and passion fruit served on brioche.
