MID-AUTUMN FESTIVAL

Throughout much of East and Southeast Asia, the days and weeks leading up to the annual Mid-autumn Festival – which takes place on the 15th day of the eighth month of the Lunar calendar – are spent giving and receiving delicious mooncakes. At the Peninsula Bangkok hotel, their beautifully packaged organic egg custard mooncakes (pictured) are available for pre-order and purchase right up until the 21st, and this year 10 special boxes will include a “Golden Ticket”, which is redeemable for a luxurious two-night stay in one of the hotel’s opulent themed suites.
