Last month the new 5G Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3 was unveiled, following hot on the heels of the Galaxy Z Fold 2 released this time last year. Powered by a Qualcomm SM8350 Snapdragon 888 processor, with 12GB of RAM and either 256GB or 512GB of storage, it offers both S Pen support and IPX8 certification for water resistance. On the back there are three cameras – 12MP f/2.2 ultrawide, 12MP f/1.8 main camera with OIS, and 12MP f/2.4 2x zoom with OIS – while the front boasts a 10MP f/2.2 selfie cam. There’s also a 4MP front-facing camera under the display, primarily for video chatting when the phone is open. The 4,400mah battery allows for all-day use, and there are two screens to work with: a 6.2 inch on the exterior, and a 7.6 inch inside. It’s a hefty piece of machinery, weighing in at 271g, but open it up and it becomes a robust mobile office and gaming system unlike anything else on the market.
