“My Fendi is about creating something that fits women of different backgrounds, of different shapes – and that’s something at the heart of Skims too,” explains Kim Jones of the maison’s collaboration with Kim Kardashian West. The artistic director of haute couture, ready-to-wear and fur collections drew design cues from Karl Lagerfeld’s 1979 sketches of twisted tube tops and tight sashes in pops of colours. Skim’s innovative form-enhancing solutions are incorporated into this capsule wardrobe, crafted in fabrics such as velvet engineered for support, bonded leather, reversible skin-tight jersey and recycled nylon.
