THE STANDARD HUA HIN

On December 1, The Standard Hua Hin is scheduled to welcome its first visitors, who will have their choice of 178 guest rooms and 21 pool villas – the largest of which is the 151-square-metre Bayside Villa. This is the first of two new Thailand properties for The Standard, the other being The Standard Bangkok Mahanakhon (set to open in 2022). The Hua Hin property gives a nod to the brand’s first waterfront resort in Miami, as it’s located just steps from the beach and nestled within a lush garden landscape. Guest amenities include a 25 x 14 metre swimming pool, as well as spa, gym, and function room. Meanwhile, on-site dining options range from Italian fare at the all-day Lido Restaurant, to healthy beverages at the more casual Juice Café, to authentic Thai cuisine and cool craft cocktails at Praça, which is set in an impeccably restored heritage house.
