RBSO CONCERTS

The Royal Bangkok Symphony Orchestra (RBSO) presents two very special evening concerts this month, both taking place (starting at 7.30pm) in the Thailand Cultural Centre’s Main Hall. On December 11, conductor Vanich Potavanich and soprano soloist Hanne Roos join forces in a programme featuring the music of Maurice Ravel, Samuel Barber, Georges Bizet, and Ottorino Respighi. Then, on December 19, conductor Stefanos Tsialis leads the orchestra in a programme that includes the Academic Festival Overture by Johannes Brahms, the Oboe Concerto in D major by Richard Strauss, and Serge Prokofiev’s Symphony No 5, Op. 100.
