Double The Bubble

The Anantara Golden Triangle Elephant Camp & Resort is famous for both its elephant camp – set up in 2003 to help rescued elephants – and its two transparent ‘Jungle Bubbles’, which offer overnight guests a totally unique way to observe these majestic mammals up close in their natural habitat. Now, just in time for the holidays, the resort has launched their brand-new two-bedroom ‘Jungle Bubble Lodge’, giving families and small groups of friends the chance to enjoy this one-of-a-kind experience together. Accommodating up to four guests, with 150 square metres of indoor and outdoor living space, this luxurious, fully climate-controlled accommodation consists of two bedrooms under a transparent roof – each with a king-sized bed – plus a (nontransparent) en suite shower and vanity, and a beautifully appointed living room, also under the transparent roof. Perched on a raised wooden deck, this domed enclosure offers uninterrupted views of passing pachyderms, as well as unparalleled stargazing at night.
