NEW INCARNATION

In 1938, designer Robert Dumas used the shape of a door lock resembling that of a box stall to create a clutch bag with a legendary clasp. The Verrou bag by Hermès now takes pride in having a line of its own, made up of a day bag and a mini bag with a chain detail. The latest version – the Verrou chaîne mini Horse Blanket – is inspired by the rugs used to keep horses warm, with coloured lines on leather in cord embroidery stitch. Three graphic colour variants bring the front, back and flap of the Verrou chaîne mini to life this season. The leather colours are juxtaposed and play with the relief of the embroidery, while the graphic angles emphasise the bolt-clasp and provide depth to this revisited little evening bag.
