Dual Contenders

IWC’S Big Pilot has been getting lots of attention of late, the latest models being a pair of 43mm additions to the Spitfire collection, one in a bronze case with green dial (which should grow together nicely once the patina develops) and the other, shown here, in titanium with black flieger-style face. Not only do both these time-only watches look the business — if, that is, you like them on the bigger side — but they’re powered by IWC’S 82100 automatic calibre, which beats at 4Hz for a decent reserve of up to 60 hours.
