SEND IN THE MARINES

Tudor wrapped up an epic year of product launches by pulling the wraps off the FXD, a new addition to the Pelagos dive-watch collection and the first fruit of a renewed relationship with the Commando Hubert combat divers of the Marine Nationale (French Navy). Designed in collaboration with this elite team, the new watch, which comes in a lightweight 42mm titanium case, features a 120-click oversized bi-directional bezel and reduced waterresistance to a real-world requirement of 20 bar. It also lacks the helium-escape valve found on the regular 50-bar Pelagos. Powered by the MT5602 automatic calibre, which offers a 70-hour reserve, this rugged underwater tool watch is supplied with both rubber and fabric single-piece straps.
