A STYLISH WINTER

When it comes to displays of understated opulence, Hermès has perfected its craft. Case in point: the Men’s Winter 2022 collection, presented late January by Creative Director Véronique Nichanian. From lavish crocodile jackets and fur-trimmed coats to sumptuous shearlings, the runway was dotted with crisp, comfortable and contemporary tailoring – overall making up a collection of layered pieces, tweaked classics, and stalwart accessories. Highlights included classic wool suits, cardigans elevated with modern colour pops, elegant shirts that swap high necks for scarf-like wraps, and creased trousers. The colour palette also did not disappoint, from charcoal and brown, to coniferous green and black, but also frost blue, pollen, pop orange, and lettuce green.
