RBSO CONCERTS
On February 19, the Royal Bangkok Symphony Orchestra (RBSO) will perform at the Thailand Cultural Centre Small Hall, in a musical programme featuring guest conductor Vanich Potavanich and keyboard soloist Trisdee Na Patalung. This celebration of 20th century composers features pieces by Stravinsky, Poulenc, Milhaud and Prokofiev. Then, on February 25, the orchestra takes the stage at the Thailand Cultural Centre’s Main Hall for an evening of music to commemorate the 160th anniversary of the diplomatic relations between the Kingdom of Thailand and Germany. Music Director Michel Tilkin will conduct an inspiring programme of towering German symphonic masterpieces, featuring the vocal talents of guest soprano soloist Dorothea Herbert (pictured). Both performances begin at 7.30pm.
