BANYAN TREE GROUP EXPANDS ITS PORTFOLIO
As a pioneer of responsible tourism, the Banyan Tree Group has introduced three new brands (Garrya, Homm, and Folio) as well as two new brand extensions (Veya and Escape), all of which have been launched with wellbeing, environmental stewardship, and sustainability-minded travel as their core concepts. In 2021 the company had a total of seven property openings, including the Garrya Huzhou Lucun in China, followed by the debut of Homm Bliss Southbeach Patong and the soft opening of Banyan Tree Veya Phuket (both in Thailand). Looking ahead, there are 19 openings scheduled for 2022, consisting of three Banyan Tree properties, one Banyan Tree Escape, three Banyan Tree Veya destinations, as well as six Angsana, three Dhawa, two Garrya, and one Homm. These new luxury vacation spots are to be spread across China, Indonesia, Cambodia, Mozambique, Saudi Arabia, the Maldives, and Thailand.
