Girard-perregaux originally produced only 8,200 units of the innovative quartz Casquette watch between 1976 and 1978 – making it much sought after by watch aficionados. And now, the Casquette is back! Released towards the end of last month by the Swiss watchmaker, and named the Casquette 2.0, this new model upholds the design language of the original but is now encased in ceramic and Grade 5 titanium. Moreover, it features a new quartz movement with additional functionality.
