RBSO CONCERTS

This month’s classical music concert calendar includes two performances by the Royal Bangkok Symphony Orchestra (RBSO). On March 12, enjoy an evening of Mozart and Beethoven at the Thailand Cultural Centre’s Main Hall, with conductor Michel Tilkin leading the orchestra, and Ukrainian piano virtuoso Vitaly Pisarenko as the guest soloist. Then, on March 18, the Thailand Cultural Centre’s Small Hall presents an intimate evening of music and song featuring the Belgian-born soprano sensation Elise Caluwaerts. Guest conductor Olivier Robe will lead the orchestra in a programme that includes selections by Maurice Ravel, Samuel Barber, Georges Bizet, and Ottorino Respighi. Both shows begin promptly at 7.30pm.
