Bangkok’s an­nual fes­ti­val of mu­sic and dance makes grand re­turn

It’s the sea­son for Bangkok’s an­nual food fes­ti­vals, Amer­i­can vi­o­lin­ist Joshua Bell per­forms, disco leg­ends Bony M are in town and Cen­tral Group con­sol­i­dates its CSR ac­tiv­i­ties

In­dulge in the spec­tac­u­lar world of per­form­ing arts with the much-an­tic­i­pated ar­rival of tal­ented mu­si­cians and dancers from across the globe as they take to the stage in Bangkok as part of Bangkok’s 20th In­ter­na­tional Fes­ti­val of Dance and Mu­sic.

Once again the fes­ti­val fea­tures yet an­other line up of ex­cit­ing per­for­mances rang­ing from bal­let to magic shows and sym­phony or­ches­tras to ac­ro­bats. Acts ap­pear­ing at this year’s event, which runs from Septem­ber 12 to Oc­to­ber 18, in­clude the his­tor­i­cally ac­claimed San Carlo Opera from Naples and its orches­tra con­ducted by Zu­bin Me­hta per­form­ing Bizet’s Car­men and the Moscow State Clas­si­cal Bal­let of Rus­sia danc­ing The Fire­bird, The Leg­end of Swan Lake and the Ugly Duck­ling and The Nutcracker. From Bol­ly­wood show­stop­pers to Ar­gen­tinean tango, ex­pect a mem­o­rable show­case given by in­spir­ing tal­ent from around the world.
