Sam’s the man in Bangkok this October
Two concerts not to miss in October as American R&B sensation Khalid and British crooner Sam Smith make their Bangkok debuts at Muang Thong Thani
Sam smith, the English singersongwriter with a unique and powerful voice, is heading to town for his first-ever live concert in Bangkok. One of the UK’s leading contemporary artists, Smith’s track record boasts The Writing’s On the Wall, the chart-topping theme to James Bond film Spectre, which also won an Oscar in 2016 for Best Original Song. Among his numerous accolades the 26-year-old pop-soul superstar has already received are four Grammy Awards, three Billboard Music Awards and three Brit Awards. The vocal talent rose to fame in 2012 when he was featured on US top 10 hit Latch by Disclosure. Smith’s latest album, The Thrill Of It All, was released in November last year. Not surprisingly it became number one in numerous charts across the globe.
