Seasonal treats from the old country
Seasonal highlights include winter treats at L’Atelier de Joel Robuchon, a last culinary hurrah at Dusit Thani Bangkok and the the reopening of Saffron at Banyan Tree Bangkok, plus healthy spa treats and much more besides
People are taking to the woods in France with a basket in hand, foraging for chestnuts, mushrooms and other edible forest produce. To welcome winter, L’Atelier de Joël Robuchon has designed a very reasonable three-course menu featuring a range of seasonal produce from the French countryside. Priced at 2,950++ baht per person with a glass of sparkling wine included, chef Olivier Limousin’s menu includes a starter choice of foie gras terrine under a sweet-spiced jelly and poached pear or Hokkaido scallop served with pumpkin soup and confit chestnuts. A choice of cod fillet or roasted duck breast is available for the second course. End with the restaurant’s signature patisseries and sweet treats from the dessert trolley.
