Hyatt Regency Bangkok Sukhumvit appoints Sicilian-native Frederik Farina executive chef and director of food & beverage. Having worked in Southeast Asia for 16 years, the 47-year-old chef spent the last seven years in a similar role at the Hyatt Regency Danang in Vietnam. With its grand opening scheduled in the first quarter of 2019, Farina will oversee the culinary attractions at the hotel, particularly focusing his energy on the top three storeys that feature a skyhigh, multi-purpose event venue with a tapas bar and a two-level rooftop bar. The new hotel, which comprises 273 rooms and three dining rooms, is located in the city centre and offers direct sky-bridge access to the Nana BTS skytrain.
