Sanrio’s big meow
HELLO KITTY, CINNAMOROLL AND POM POM PURIN TAKE BANGKOK BY STORM
THE MUCH-LOVED Sanrio Fair is back at Central and Zen this month and is offering special discounts alongside a range of fun activities until November 7. The festival gives fans the chance to check out the latest collection of lifestyle products, cosmetics and stationery adorned with Sanrio's popular cartoon characters such as Hello Kitty, My Melody, Kero Kero Keroppi, Little Twin Stars, Cinnamoroll, Bad Badtz-Maru and Pom Pom Purin.
Coming mostly in shocking pink and a few pastel colours, the stationery corner has lovely pencil bags, notebooks, scissors in cases, stickers, rulers, A5, A6, A7 file holders and name card holders in different sizes. Reusable plastic water bottles in different designs vie for space with facial towels, multi-purpose fabric bags, shower caps, tissue boxes, purses and elastic hair bands. The Hello Kitty cosmetic line presents a new edition of eye shadow palettes, cushion powder and lipsticks. Shoppers visiting the festival at Central Lat Phrao, Bang Na, Pinklao and Chaeng Wattana can join a fun workshop on decorating cookies and embroidering a hat or play games to win favourite cartoon figures, purchase capsule toys and scan a QR code to get special gifts. A Hello Kitty nail polish service is also available. Those spending Bt1,500 will get a chance to win Hello Kitty photo frames surrounded by Swarovski crystals worth Bt41,500 and Goodluck Gedetama Petite mascots valued at Bt3,500.
