Sabanci plots new management course post-COVID
AS A NEW WORLD order ruled by sustainability, environmentalism, and technology approaches in the aftermath of the coronavirus outbreak, business solutions and applications focusing on digitalization will become a priority, says Guler Sabanci, Chairman of Sabanci Holding. The company has been facing some hard battles during the coronavirus outbreak but has begun to fight back with a strong financial account and a durable portfolio. Sabanci said the company will focus on managing the transition in the new term and will stand firm with necessary health measures.
AN AGGRESSIVE APPROACH TO RECOVERY
In a video message to Sabanci Holding employees, Sabanci talked estimates for the next term. Turkey has reached a new phase in the fight against the pandemic, thanks to its devoted health personnel and the efforts of the Health Board, she said. As the government takes new steps toward normalization, Sabanci added that the company will shift to transition management from crisis management. The company aims to manage this new term aggressively but without easing health measures. Accordingly, Sabanci called for leading solutions, applications, and plans that focus on digitalization. “During these trying times, we once again witnessed that our strong financial account structure and durable portfolio is our biggest strength. We will set new records and shape the future with our significant advantages and our employees’ adaptability,” she said.
WE TRUST SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY
Sabanci described the existing period as extraordinary and thanked all the company’s employees. She said since the first coronavirus case in Turkey, CEO Cenk Alper and the crisis committee led this process dynamically and successfully. Health has been the priority during this process and the company has implemented the necessary measures since the beginning of the outbreak. “At Sabanci, we believe we can fight this threat only through science and technology, so we make all our donations to these areas.”
