Thank You, Mister Tayyip
“Whatever I said in Diyarbakir in 2005, I still stand by it and I will continue to do so. I meant what I said when I was talking about peace, brotherhood, solutions, justice, rights and freedom. We abolished the policies of rejection, denial and assimilation and began focusing on the solutions of age-old issues with an approach based on freedom.” Erdogan said these words in Diyarbakir. I thank the President for re-appropriating completely domestic and national projects like the peace process. This process has been criminalized by so many, even by some of the authorities of the state media for a while. Those who described this process as treason were pressuring the real democrats. The AK Party was insecure and silent on these issues. Those who incited Kurdish politicians to end the peace process just because of Erdogan’s hostility have not paid a price. Kurds are again blamed for the whole thing.
