U.S Bureau of Labor Statistics will release inflation rata for December. Inflation rose 6.8% from a year ago in November, slightly higher than estimates.
2021 GDP, GERMANY FRIDAY 12PM
Economists expect GDP growth in 2021 to reach 2.5%. Germany’s central bank revised its growth forecasts for 2022 amid constricted supply chains and the spread of the omicron variant.
U.S. RETAIL SALES FRIDAY 16.30PM
The U.S. Commerce Department will release retail sales for December. Retail sales rose 0.3% last month after surging 1.8% in October.
DOMESTIC DATA LABOR STATISTICS MONDAY 10AM
The Turkish Statistical Institute will release labor statistics for November. Unemployment decreased by 0.2 to 11,2% in October. The number of unemployed people was 3.7 million in the same period.

The Central Bank will release the Market Participants Survey for January. The year-end Consumer Price Index (CPI) expectation was 23.85% in the December survey.
ECO̞POLITICS ECONOMY LAW PROPOSAL
The 18-item bill regulating the FX protected TRY deposit accounts, the one point discount in the corporate tax, and pay rises for civil servants and retirees will be discussed and enacted by parliament this week.
LAW ON TEACHERS MONDAY
The Law on the Teaching Profession, which envisages turning teaching into a career profession, will be discussed at the National Education Commission of the parliament on Monday.
