GOODYEAR TO INVEST USD 18M IN TWO FACILITIES

The U.S.-based multinational tire manufacturer The Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company has decided to invest up to USD 18m in its Adapazari and Izmit manufacturing plants between 2022 and 2024, in line with the development potential of the Turkish economy and the country’s tire market, according to a statement from the company. The investment in Goodyear’s Izmit production plant will raise the facility’s daily capacity by 5%, while the investment in the Adapazari manufacturing plant will pave the way for the facility to extend the product portfolio offered to equipment customers.
