YDA GROUP TO BUILD FIVE PLANTS IN KAZAKHSTAN
Construction company YDA Group will begin construction of five manufacturing plants in Kazakhstan in the near future in order to develop products that will decrease the country’s imports, according to Huseyin Arslan, Chairman of the Board of Directors of YDA Group. The company, which is working to construct four city hospitals, has made a total investment of USD 2.2bn in Kazakhstan. “We aim to increase the number of employees from 2,500 to 15,000 when investments are completed and these city hospitals become operational,” said Arslan. YDA Group also uses its build-operate-transfer (BOT) and public-private-partnership (PPP) expertise in the country. The firm, which built the Turkistan and Aktau International Airports, continues to operate them in Kazakhstan.
