ATP TO ESTABLISH VENTURE CAPITAL TRUST
The technology company ATP will establish a Venture Capital Trust (VCT) to invest in technology-oriented venture firms that are open to global opportunities and have development potential for ATP. The company will also provide strategic support for their growth, according to Umit Cinali, General Manager of ATP. ATP, which has applied to the Capital Markets Board of Turkey (SPK) for the project, will allocate TRY 25m to its VCT in the first stage. “VCT will increase ATP’s innovation power and pace. It will also create new opportunities for companies operating in the finance and quick service restaurants (QSR) sectors with strategic investments and will enrich ATP’s solution portfolio,” said Cinali. ATP, which went international after it established Zenia Technologies in the Netherlands and Zenia Limited in Malta, acquired a 51% share in Chinese company TS China in 2020, entering the China and Asia Pacific regions.
