KEY HOLDING EYES TEXTILE EXPORTS

KEU Mensucat, the textile subsidiary of KEY Holding, which operates in the paper, packaging, recycling, plastics, constructi­on, foreign trade, maritime, and logistics sectors, is focusing on exports, according to Mahmut Ciger, Vice Chairman of KEY Holding. The holding company entered the textiles sector at the end of 2020 with its subsidiary KEY Mensucat. The textile company, which had an annual capacity of around 11,000 tons in 2021, reached a turnover of USD 27m in its first year of operation. “We followed domestic sales policy, as 2021 was the first year of operation. Now, we plan on export-driven work,” said Ciger. The company estimates sales amount of over USD 50m for 2022 with investment­s in additional capacity increase.
