OYAK GROUP TO ACQUIRE GOLD HARVEST

OYAK Group, which operates in a variety of industries including, mining, automotive, chemicals, and construction sectors will acquire the dried fruit and nuts producer Gold Harvest Kuruyemis.

The firm will carry out the transaction through its subsidiary, OYAK Portfoy. The company will enter the dried fruits and nuts sector for the first time once the official procedures are completed. Gold Harvest, which has an annual production capacity of 40,000 tons, manufactures dried fruits and nuts along with potato chips under its Kara Sevda, Master Nut, Master Farm, and Master Potato brands. Gold Harvest will begin production of coated nuts, brittle, and bar products in the coming days. OYAK Group has focused on the food industry over the past five years as part of its transformation and reorganization process. The firm acquired Sagra and Tamek with its subsidiary Hektas in 2021.
