EGE ENDUSTRI TO SET UP A USD 50M MANUFACTURING PLANT

Ege Endustri ve Ticaret AS, which designs and manufactures axles for commercial vehicles and trailers as well as suspension systems and their component parts, will build a production plant worth USD 50m in the Aegean Free Zone. The facility, which will be set up on a 60,000 square meter plot, will have an enclosed area of 35,000 square meters. The production plant will be completed in three years and will manufacture axles for trucks. All output will be exported. Ege Endustri is the supplier for brands such as Daimler, Man, Scania, and Ford in the U.S., Europe, Asia, and Turkey. The company also exports to the U.S., Germany, France, Sweden, the UK, Scotland, Italy, Finland, Brazil, and Australia.
