IHI DALGAKIRAN TO GROW AS A RESULT OF INVESTMENTS

Dalgakiran Group’s turbo compressor subsidiary IHI Dalgakiran will continue to invest in high technology, according to Adnan Dalgakiran, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Dalgakiran Group. The company has put into use the only turbo compressor test center in Turkey and nearby countries, according to Yakub Tufekci, General Manager of IHI Dalgakiran. The company achieved a 70% localization rate in some turbo compressor models manufactured with Japanese technology. “IHI Dalgakiran contributes nearly USD 70m to closing the country’s foreign trade deficit,” said Tufekci. The company plans to add new product groups to its portfolio, according to Kazuo Kobayashi, CEO of IHI Dalgakiran. “We’ll transfer more know-how from Japan to Turkey. We aim for the exports to be 75% of our total production,” said Kobayashi.
