NON̞ DOMESTIC PRODUCER PRICES HIT AN ALL̞ TIME HIGH
The non-domestic producer price index (ND-PPI) jumped 106.13% in February, compared to the same month last year, according to the Turkish Statistical Institute (TurkStat). Thus, the ND-PPI has reached its highest annual level since it was first calculated in 2010. The index also rose by 2.35% in February monthover-month and climbed by 53.21% last month on a 12-month rolling average. Fort the two main sectors mining and quarrying and manufacturing - the ND -PPI rose by 112.24% and 106.2% on an annual basis, respectively. Monthly, the ND -PPI for those two sectors was up by 3.99% and 2.32%, respectively.
