TURKISH TECHNIC’S REVENUES EXCEED USD 1BN

The national flag carrier Turkish Airlines’ maintenance, repair, and operations (MRO) subsidiary Turkish Technic earned USD 1.03bn in revenues and its market share reached 1.6% last year. The company grew by 15.7% in 2021, compared to the previous year. “The average turnover of the MRO sector dropped by 28% compared to the pre-pandemic period, while our company’s third-party revenues jumped by 88%,” said Mikal Akbulut, General Manager of Turkish Technic. The company aims to exceed its pre-pandemic revenue and growth levels by the end of 2022. Turkish Technic offered overhaul maintenance services to 672 aircraft and maintenance-repair services to 216 landing gears and more than 100,000 components last year.
