SIGMA ELEKTRIK TO INVEST USD 10M IN MANUFACTURING PLANT

The low-voltage product manufacturer Sigma Elektrik will set up a new production plant with a USD 10m investment in Sancaktepe, Istanbul, to meet increasing demand, according to Murat Akgul, General Manager of Sigma Elektrik. The facility, which will become operational at the end of this year, will increase the company’s production capacity 2.5-fold and create 200 jobs. “Our production plant will be built on an area of 15,000 square meters,” said Akgul. Sigma Elektrik will initially increase its product range by 10% with the new facility. “We’ve completed our mold investments for new product groups and have made new machinery and equipment investments,” said Akgul.
