PEUGEOT TURKEY EYES TO GROW BY 20%

The French carmaker Peugeot’s Turkey operation aims to grow by 20% in 2022, according to Ibrahim Anac, General Manager of Peugeot Turkey. “We aim to increase our market share by one point. We’ll take a market share of around 6%. Light commercial vehicles (LCV) will play an important role in this growth,” said Anac. Peugeot Turkey had a 5.3% market share in 2021. “Although our total sales dropped by 11%, our retail sales surged by 10% in 2021 compared to the previous year. This was our choice,” Anac added. Peugeot Turkey, which grew by 41% and took a 5.7% share in the LCV market in 2021, increased its market share by 1.3 points last year year-on-year.
