BOEING AND HMS MAKINE INK A DIRECT SUPPLY DEAL

The American aerospace company Boeing has inked a direct supply deal with parts manufacturer HMS Makine. As part of the agreement, HMS Makine will manufacture various parts for Boeing 737 and 787 Dreamliner aircrafts. “This agreement demonstrates our confidence in Turkey and the world-class capabilities of our partners in the Turkish aviation industry,” said Aysem Sargin, Turkey Managing Director and Country Executive for Boeing. Apart from the deal, the company will also continue to supply components to other Boeing manufacturing partners. “This agreement is a result of our close collaboration with the Globalization and Supplier Development Regional Team of Boeing and an important opportunity for HMS Makina,” said Aziz Meydan, General Manager of HMS Makina.
