The Republican People’s Party (CHP) Central Executive Committee will convene under the leadership of chairman Kemal Kilicdaroglu.

CABINET’S AGENDA WILL BE WAR AND ECONOMY

The agenda of the cabinet meeting expected to be held under the chairmanship of President Recep Tayyip Erdogan focus on the economy and price increases, especially in food. The ongoing war between Russia and Ukraine and Turkey’s mediation attempts will be also on the table.

PARLIAMENT TO DISCUSS SPORT LAW

The law proposal on sports clubs and federations will be discussed before Parliament this week. A balanced budget system is being introduced for sports clubs and sports joint stock companies, which creates the legal infrastructure for the corporatization of sports clubs. Borrowing is limited and payments and collections over a certain amount will be made through financial institutions.
