TOTAL TURNOVER INDEX JUMPS BY 105.4% IN FEBRUARY

The total turnover index, including the manufacturing, construction, trade, and services sectors, jumped 105.4% in February, compared to the same month last year, according to the Turkish Statistical Institute (TurkStat). In terms of sub-sectors, manufacturing climbed by 123.6%, construction increased by 55.2%, trade by 94.1%, and services by 119.6% in February on an annual basis. The index increased by 7.9% month over month in February. In terms of sub-sectors, manufacturing rose by 7.3%, construction surged by 2.7%, trade by 9.4%, and services by 6.1% in February, as compared to January.
